Michael Yoeli has 40 years of experience as a litigator and appellate counsel representing insurance companies and their policyholders in medical malpractice, long-term disability, life insurance, medical coverage, toxic tort, premises liability, and insurance coverage cases.
Mr. Yoeli has argued more than 60 appeals in state and federal courts, including the New York State Court of Appeals and the Second Circuit.
Before founding the firm, Mr. Yoeli was a member of Gordon and Silber PC where his responsibilities included leadership of the team representing the Manville Trust in thousands of asbestos cases brought in the State of New York. Prior to that, Mr. Yoeli was associated with the firm of Bower & Gardner, where he practiced medical malpractice, drug products liability, and toxic tort defense. Mr. Yoeli started his legal career at the Office of the District Attorney, Kings County, New York.
Mr. Yoeli received his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from New York University and his law degree from Brooklyn Law School. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York, in the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and in the United States District Courts for the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of New York.
