Michael Burke is a Partner in the firm. He joined Yoeli Gottlieb & Etra LLP after eleven years of medical malpractice defense experience at a prominent defense litigation firm. He has litigated numerous cases involving a wide variety of medical issues, while working with many well-known medical specialists and expert consultants throughout the State. More recently, he has expanded his practice to encompass managing investigations instituted against various clients by the New York Justice Center.

Mr. Burke graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1991, and thereafter served as a tank platoon leader in Cavalry Regiments in Germany and Louisiana. After leaving the service, he worked as the business manager for a radiology practice in northern New Jersey. His positive experience working with physicians motivated him to pursue a law degree at night from Rutgers University School of Law and to embark on his chosen career of defending the medical profession.
